At Jump Into Motion (“JIM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to protecting your privacy and security. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our mobile and web application.​

  • Clients: name, contact details (email/phone), profile information (bio, photo), and payment details.
     

  • Trainers: name, contact details, qualifications, profile picture, experience, and payment details.
     

  • Training Providers: business or individual registration details, accreditation/certification information, contact details, and payment details.
     

Voluntary sharing: Users may share additional personal or health information with each other (e.g., fitness goals, medical conditions). JIM does not collect, verify, or assume responsibility for this voluntarily shared information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  1. Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
     

  2. Facilitate secure payments and transactions.
     

  3. Enable Trainers to display verified qualifications from Training Providers.
     

  4. Communicate with you (support, updates, notifications).
     

  5. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

3. Data Visibility
​

  • Users only see what another chooses to share publicly (bio, qualifications, profile picture).
     

  • Contact details (e.g., email, phone) are never disclosed unless voluntarily shared by the user.
     

 

 

4. Partnerships and Data Sharing

  • JIM may share Trainer information (name, qualifications, training location) with industry governing bodies we partner with (e.g., FIT Africa).
     

  • This applies automatically in certain regions. Trainers can opt out at any time through their account settings.
     

  • Apart from these partnerships, personal data is never shared with third parties unless required by law.
     

 

 

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and analytics to track general usage, including approximate location data (city/country level), to improve our services.

6. Data Retention
​

We reserve the right to retain personal data for up to 12 months after account deletion for analytics and legal compliance, after which it will be securely deleted.

All personal data is stored securely within Firebase (Europe), using industry-standard encryption and access controls.

8. International Data Transfer
​

Your data may be transferred and processed outside the UK and EU. All transfers comply with GDPR standards.

9. Age Restriction
​

JIM is for individuals aged 18+. Accounts discovered to belong to under-18s will be deleted.

You have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your data.
     

  • Opt out of governing body data sharing.
     

  • Withdraw consent for processing.
     

Requests can be made by emailing the contact at the bottom of this policy. Requests will be processed within 10 working days.
