What Comes Next: Building JIM With Community at the Core.

For the past few weeks, we've shared how JIM is being built: not with noise, not with hype, but with intention. We’ve covered our intentional strategy and our belief in partnerships over ads. This week, we’re going deeper into the beating heart of the product: the community of trainers who are building it with us.

Because JIM isn’t just for trainers. It’s built with them.

🔍 Where Our Product Ideas Come From

Almost every feature you see inside JIM started from a conversation.A trainer tells us something that doesn’t work.

Another shares a spreadsheet they use with their clients.Someone else suggests a simpler way to handle scheduling.

That’s how we decide what to build next. Not on assumptions. Not on what competitors are doing. But on what real people tell us they need.

Every single week, we ship new improvements. Some are big (like payments). Some are tiny (like editing session titles). But every one of them helps trainers do better work.

🪡 Our Edge: Building in Public

This is a big reason we’re not afraid to build publicly. When people see us post a new feature or share a bug fix, they know the app is alive. That we’re responsive. That we’re here, listening.

And it’s working: this transparency has helped turn testers into champions. Early users are now our biggest advocates because they see their feedback turn into reality.

When someone says, "I wish the app could..."We don’t say, "Maybe one day." We say, "Let’s make it happen."

🚀 The Future: From Community to Flywheel

Here’s what we believe: Build value for trainers.

Those trainers bring their clients.

More usage = better rankings and reviews. Which brings even more clients.

The trainer community becomes the growth engine. Not a nice-to-have. The engine.

And it’s already starting to work. Trainers in over 30 countries are live. Founding Trainers are stacking reviews. Some are onboarding their full client base.

This is how we avoid the cold-start trap. Not with hacks. But with humans.

🚜 Final Word: We’re Still Early

If you’re reading this, you're still early. Whether you're a trainer, a partner, or just watching from afar - we’re glad you're here.

And if you want to shape what comes next? Now is the time.

Create your profile. Bring your clients. Tell us what’s missing. Let’s build the next phase of fitness together.

Josh & Matteo Co-founders, JIM
