Jazz
We begin with warm-ups and stretching. Children learn basic Jazz skills through dances, individual instruction, and movement across the floor.
Shoes:
Jazz or Ballet shoes are optional. If you do have shoes, PLEASE WRITE YOUR CHILD'S NAME ON THEIR SHOES. A DANCE BAG IS REQUIRED. Jump Into Motion Dance Academy is not responsible for lost shoes.
Used shoes are available to purchase from Jump Into Motion, please contact our office for availability. You can also purchase children's ballet and tap shoes at most Payless Shoe stores or WalMart. Because what they have in stock may vary, we do recommend calling in advance to see if they have them in stock. You can also go to your local dance wear store.
Attire:
AT YOUR SCHOOL: Children are to come to school dressed for class. Clothing is to be comfortable and easy to move in.
EVENING: Clothing is to be comfortable and easy to move in. Leotards and tights are optional.
